With a variety of knowledge stemming from years of experience, Lonnie still researches every chance he gets. From looking up meta-analysis to experimenting with new work outs on himself, to talking to peers in the health and fitness world that he networks with around the bay area, he tries to provide the most efficient yet fun way to train for his clients. Clients have reached out to him for help from across the Bay Area. Some clients travel from Pacifica and Oakland just to meet him in the Cole Valley Location.
Lonnie personally focuses on calisthenics (bodyweight) & powerlifting exercises for his own training. He has also trained in boxing, Muay Thai, and Jiu Jitsu in the past. He has competed in calisthenics competitions in the past in the Central Valley. For bodybuilding and lean muscle building, he takes a scientific approach by finding the best lifting methods possible that are safe for the joints. He’s trained athletes from fellow calisthenics competitors, boxers, high school wrestlers, basketball players, and tennis players. He is also an expert in exercise recovery. Russel started as a strength & performance coach for a high-profile performance facility back in the Philippines pre-pandemic, providing trainings for individual and team-sport athletes ranging from youth, high school, collegiate, semi-pro, & professional level. Before Ernest became involved with training, he was involved in various sports including cross country, track, basketball, and martial arts. He began training with highly experienced coaches and trainers to become stronger and eventually became inspired enough to pass this knowledge to others.
Ernest creates a holistic view in helping his clients become the best versions of themselves. His passion grows as he watches his clients succeed and remain accountable inside and outside of the gym. What clients can take away from him is creating the mental capacity to accomplish their fitness goals.
