We at Live Fit Gym are sponsoring the 32nd Mae Louise Mays Softball Tournament united San Francisco around a weekend of athleticism, purpose, & youth empowerment. As the lead sponsor, Live Fit Gym proudly stood at the intersection of fitness, community, & legacy—embodying our belief that the health of individuals and the health of society are inseparable.

Held at Moscone Fields this Saturday, June 21, 2025, the annual tournament honors Mae Louise Mays, wife of baseball legend Willie Mays, and raises vital funds for foster youth through City Youth Now & the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. More than a sporting event, us sponsoring the 32nd Mae Louise Mays Softball Tournament is a reflection of what we stand for: integrative wellness, youth development, & community-driven change.

Supporting and helping every step of the journey.

Why Live Fit Gym Sponsored the Tournament

At Live Fit Gym, we believe that real wellness doesn’t stop at physical fitness. We practice Integrative Fitness™—the intelligent combination of fitness & wellness—because we understand that true health encompasses the mind, body, & spirit [vibe/energy/chi/qi/etc.]. Supporting this tournament aligns with our core mission: showing up for the community, investing in the next generation, & building systems of care that extend far beyond gym walls.

By sponsoring the 32nd Mae Louise Mays Softball Tournament, we supported programs that provide scholarships, mentorship, summer camps, & year-round care for San Francisco’s foster youth. These aren’t just services—they’re lifelines that promote long-term wellness at every level.

Wellness as a Fractal: Individual Health Expands into Collective Health

One of the most powerful beliefs we hold is that wellness is fractal. The same way our internal systems affect each other—mind/body connection, nerves hold emotions which connect to our muscles, posture, & the way we move in the world, nervous system affects recovery—our personal wellness influences the world around us.

A person who is physically & emotionally regulated shows up more present for their family & friends. They build better relationships, make clearer decisions, & have greater capacity to give back. In this way, individual healing becomes community healing.

That’s why our support for the 32nd Mae Louise Mays Softball Tournament wasn’t just about showing up for an event—it was about honoring the ripple effect of health.

Youth Wellness Starts Early—and It Lasts a Lifetime

We believe in YOU. And we believe in YOUth. This event is more than just a San Francisco attraction, or something to do in San Francisco. It’s about intent.

At Live Fit Gym, we know that the earlier wellness is introduced, the more deeply it becomes ingrained. Youth exposed to fitness, wellness, and mentorship learn habits that support them for life. They learn emotional regulation. They build strength and confidence. They create patterns of trust, self-worth, & belonging.

That’s why our sponsorship focused on City Youth Now, an organization helping foster youth across San Francisco access real resources—not someday, but now. From summer camps to education funds to trusted adult relationships, these programs are foundational. They plant seeds of resilience.

We desire to help support youth believe in their ability to move through this world with pride, empowerment, & confidence. Building their self-esteem through fitness & wellness.

The Commemorative Shirt: A Message in Design

Our Chief Head of Brand and Marketing, Liana Estillore (Liana Vibes), designed the commemorative shirt that will be worn at the tournament. Approximately 26 teams will be wearing these shirts, in an array of vivid colors. More than apparel, the shirt was a visual story:

  • San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Representing connection, history, & progress. As Liana states: “This was intentional, because we are building bridges: from past to present, to present to future. From goals into reality.”
  • A giant softball encircling the city: Not just for the obvious. But because collectively, as a whole we desire to Lift The City. Leaning into the power of togetherness.

An outline of Willie Mays in uniform (with permission from the SF Giants): Honoring the legacy we stand on—“the shoulders of giants.”

Liana Estillore [Liana Vibes] is deeply passionate about healing, wellness, & especially after narcissistic abuse. She has dedicated her life empowerment after being disempowered from specific traumas. Working with a variety of marginalized communities: including housing insecure, transgender, LGBT, domestic violence survivors, narcissistic abuse survivors, & those harmed from toxic relationships—her art comes through.

Liana sees a great story unfolding. Because fitness is known to help heal trauma by bringing you back into the present moment, deeply into your body. Often, trauma disconnects us from our bodies. Wellness, is not isolated part—but the wholeness of who we are, expressed at its most optimum state.

The shirt is a reminder of a moment & movement. To live fit & live well.

• 💆 Massage & SoftWave Therapy: We need to address physical pain immediately. But also, prevent through healthy touch.
• 🏋️ Personal Training: Building strength and confidence. With support, guided with empathy & expertise.

• 🫀 Community Programs: Events, community give backs.

And more!

Integrative Fitness in San Francisco

Why This Matters During Uncertain Times

In times of global instability and personal stress, we believe wellness is not a luxury—it’s a necessity.
• When people are overwhelmed, movement gives clarity.
• When people are disconnected, wellness restores belonging.
• When communities feel fractured, shared events like this tournament rebuild the social fabric.

This weekend’s event in San Francisco, the 32nd Mae Louise Mays Softball
Tournament reminded us that joy, purpose, and movement are all forms of medicine.

Live Fit Gym: We’re More Than Just a Gym™

For 25 years, we’ve grown from a single modest chiropractic office in the Mission District to a citywide ecosystem of wellness locations. But no matter how many gyms we open or how many services we offer, one thing remains:

We show up.

We show up in city parks.
We show up for youth.
We show up for a better future.

This weekend’s tournament is just one of many ways we continue to expand our reach and deepen our roots in San Francisco.

Final Reflection: This Is What We Stand For

To us, this wasn’t just another event. It was a living expression of our mission.

We believe that:
• Mind, body, & spirit must be supported together. Holistic.
• Wellness must reach beyond individuals into systems.
• The youth deserve consistent, nurturing care—right now.
• And healing the self helps heal society.

So we’ll continue to build, lift, train, and serve—not just inside our gyms, but in our parks, our communities, & our city’s next generation.

Live Fit Gym
More than just a gym™
A force for integrative fitness.
